Two Series.
One Wheel.

SoLuna: Seasonal Attunement Through East Asian Medicine and Other Earth-Based Traditions

Womb Ways (A Womb School Series): Cyclical Body Wisdom & Practices

Held in circle at Claremont Yoga, Claremont, CA

in Los Angeles County

Sky, Body & Seasons

Everything moves in cycles, the sun and moon overhead, and the blood and breath within you. SoLuna follows the year's turning, the solstices, equinoxes, and cross-quarter days shared by East Asian Medicine and earth-based traditions alike. Womb Ways follows the body's own turning, the phases of the menstrual cycle and the seasons of life.

Two circles, same wheel. Come to one workshop, or come to them all, and watch how closely they speak to each other. Our bodies are intimately connected to the celestial bodies in the sky as well as Earth's turnings. I look forward to exploring this in circle with you.

Enter the Wheel

Two circles, same wheel. Choose the one that's calling you today or walk both and watch how they meet.

I

SoLuna

Aligned with the lunisolar calendar's eight turning points, each gathering explores the qi of the season, the organs asking for our attention, and seasonal remedies worth keeping close, alongside acupressure and qigong practice suited to the moment in the year.

II

Womb Ways

Womb School series that guides you through every phase of the menstrual cycle and life cycles, from menarche, postpartum, and (peri)menopause, through the lens of the Five Elements, the seasons, and the wisdom already held in the womb.

YOUR PRACTITIONER

Meet Your Guide

Kris González, DAcCHM, is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, a practitioner of the Nourishing Life Tradition, 養生 yǎng shēng, and the founder of The Way of Yin. Her work exists to bridge a real gap: reproductive health education that actually draws on timeless wisdom, not just modern clinical language stripped of context.

Kris teaches through the lens of the 7 Year Cycles, from menarche to menopause and beyond, and holds a simple, guiding belief: your womb is a microcosm of earth's seasons and the moon's phases. Whatever threshold you're standing at, first period, menstruating years, postpartum, perimenopause, or the second spring of menopause, she's spent her career helping people meet it with more ease, more literacy, and more reverence for what the body already knows.

SoLuna and Womb Ways are that same belief, brought into a room together. One follows the sky's turning, the other follows the body's, and Kris leads both in person, right here in Claremont, so the wisdom she's spent years teaching online finally has a circle to land in.

The Womb Palace: Earth, the Season Between All Seasons

Earth sits at the center, the ground every other element returns to before it can become the next one. It governs digestion in the fullest sense: what we ingest, metabolize, and integrate, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Your body is Earth's home, and specifically, your Womb Palace is where these elemental and seasonal movements are felt and reflected. Join us as we anchor into Late Summer's in-between space, digestive vigor, and the transitions that carry us from one season, one cycle, one stage of life into the next.

Silver Edge: Pre-Menstrual Power & The Metal Element

Pre-menstrual time is your body's own inner autumn, Metal's monthly turn toward breath, boundary, and discernment. This gathering reframes that sharpened edge as power, not something to manage, with guided acupressure, somatic mindfulness practice, and a fresh look at what your body is actually asking for in these days before your next bleed.

Harvest Moon: Autumn Equinox Celebration

Autumn Equinox, Qiu Fen 秋分, is one of the year's two true balance points, day and night in equal measure, before Yin fully receives the exuberant Yang of the year. This gathering honors that turn through the lens of Metal, the Lung, and autumn's oldest art, the art of letting go, alongside the Harvest Moon's own ancient marking of this same threshold. We'll move through seasonal teaching, acupressure and qigong practice, and a collective altar to release what this season is ready to lay down.
