Workshop Description:

We begin in the center. Earth is the season between all seasons, the ground every other element must dip into before it can pivot into its next iteration. In the body, Earth governs digestion in the fullest sense: what we ingest, what we metabolize, what we actually integrate, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Earth also represents your body, the vessel that mirrors these cosmic movements. It is specifically the Womb Palace that reflects the ebb and flow of these elemental and seasonal movements.

This gathering opens our full year together, and because everything in this medicine happens in relationship, every session going forward will touch on all five elements even as we deepen into one. This month, that deepening is 🌾 Late Summer itself: how to shift our energy to ride the qi of the year, and how to anchor our digestive vigor as the Northern Hemisphere turns from Yang toward Yin.

Late Summer is Earth's own season, the Mother element, and it holds a unique position. It isn't only the transition between summer and autumn. It's the same in-between space that shows up between every major season of the year, and the same threshold your body crosses between every phase of your menstrual cycle and every phase of your life. Late Summer is where we practice being in the in-between, again and again, until we trust it.

In this gathering, we'll explore:

Earth as a Season: Late Summer and how this relates to our relationship with change and transitions
Earth as an Element/Phase: Representing our Earth body and the transition between each of the menstrual cycle phases and every stage in our life cycles
Our relationship to the Mother Archetype
Observe and connect with the tissues and sense organs that can reveal how our Earth element is doing

A small seasonal gift related to the womb
A workbook containing workshop curriculum, seasonal practices, and journaling prompts
